OUR DREAM OF GREECE BECAME TRUE
During our trips to Greece, we got to know a lot of holiday residences - in 2003 the idea was born to build a property in Karystos. Quick we put the plan into action and designed a house according to our expectations and in such a way as we would like to find it on our journeys.
We started in 2003 with the construction and without significant delays, the house was ready for occupancy in 2004. It was one of the first new buildings in Karystos, which was built to the stringent regulatory requirements for seismic safety.
The name Villa Petraki lent itself to this holiday residence: Villa is in many southern European countries only "detached house". The name Petraki is actually a made-up word, but is derived from the Greek word for "rock" - from "Petra".
The local stone of the exterior walls of the basement and the walls of the garden, but also the Karystos Plakes on the floors inside the house and on the terraces give our house his name.
